London’s East End singer, songwriter, producer Philip Morgan Lewis combines alternative, garage rock, blues and folk influences with a distinctive vocal sound.
Philip writes and produces his songs. He sings and plays most instruments on his tracks.
With the release of his first EP "Karma Comedown" (late 2013) Philip garnered rave reviews and a lot of radio support in the UK and US, featuring 7 weeks on UK national radio Planet Rock.
2014 saw him get the support of BBC introducing London with Gary Crowley playing 3 singles of his upcoming album and export his sound to US radio, gaining attention from Los Angeles TV music supervisors. His tracks featured regularly on playlists alongside artists such as the Black Keys, Jack white, The White Stripes.
Philip was a nominee at the British Blues awards, end 2014.
Philip shares credit as producer with producer Gordon Raphael (The Strokes) on the upcoming album of British garage rock band Elêphant and has produced 2 tracks on British band Neek's upcoming LP.
